Christian holds a degree in Environmental Design (landscape architecture and urban planning) and a post graduate diploma in Urban and Regional Planning. He has served in the Canadian Armed Forces, lectured in a Korean university, worked on high density residential construction projects, and did project coordination for Habitat for Humanity. Christian joined Active Earth in 2018 and enjoys putting his experiences in construction, urban development, project coordination, and planning to good use. With Active Earth he has experience in environmental investigation and remediation working primarily on Stage 1 and 2 Preliminary Investigations.

Christian was once an active person who enjoyed, hockey, rock climbing, skiing, snowboarding, skydiving, sailing, mountain biking, backcountry backpacking, and travelling. He is now a father of two adorable little boys and enjoys playing hockey with them as much as he can.

He is also an avid volunteer who has coached skiing and snowboarding for the Special Olympics, taught disabled skiers, patrolled for the Canadian Ski Patrol, and worked with squatter’s settlements and green building NGO’s in Nepal and Thailand.
