Lynaea joined Active Earth in 2021 as a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Technologist and recent graduate of the University of Victoria, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Earth and Ocean Sciences and Geography.Since joining Active Earth, Lynaea has worked on a wide range of environmental, hydrogeological, and biology projects and has become the lead of the drafting GIS/CAD team. Her experience includes the development of technical figures, mapping products, and spatial data solutions that support project planning, analysis, reporting, and regulatory submissions.
As lead of the drafting team, Lynaea is responsible for coordinating drafting workflows, maintaining quality and consistency across deliverables.
Outside of work, Lynaea enjoys exploring Vancouver Island, swing dancing, and travelling.
