Kathy is a registered Professional Engineer with a Bachelor degree in Geological Engineering from Queen’s University and a Masters degree in Hydrogeology from the University of British Columbia.
Kathy has over 25 years of consulting experience in the groundwater industry throughout BC, focusing on the Lower Mainland region. She draws from her strong technical background and working familiarity with local bylaws and BC regulations to assist clients with land and resource development projects. During her time at Active Earth, she has effectively managed over 100 projects. She also served as General Manager of the BC Groundwater Association for 3 years, during which time she promoted educational events and expanded her network of contractor, consultant, and government contacts.
Kathy’s career began in contaminated site investigations and evolved to focus on groundwater supply. She has been involved in the siting, construction, testing, rehabilitation and licensing of numerous production wells for First Nation, municipal, agricultural, commercial, and industrial clients. She enjoys helping her clients better visualize, access and manage this precious resource while meeting their resource use objectives.
In her free time, Kathy enjoys singing in a choir, swimming, and travelling the world with her friends and two adult children.
