Originally from the west coast of Ireland, Maeve relocated to Vancouver in 2017. She holds and M.Sc. in Environmental Sciences from Trinity College, Dublin and has 5+ years of experience working in the environmental industry in British Columbia. Maeve joined Active Earth in 2022 as a Project Scientist.

Maeve has extensive experience completing Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and Stage 1 Preliminary Site Investigations (PSIs) and has authored over 200 reports to date. At Active Earth, Maeve is involved in Stage 2 PSIs, Detailed Site Investigation (DSI),  Excavation Monitoring and Soil Relocation Projects. She has worked on projects across Canada for a large variety of clients and industries, including real estate, property development/management, Government and First Nations.

When not working, Maeve tries to embrace life in B.C. as much as she can; you can find her hiking or on the beach in the summer, skiing in the winter and attending concerts of her favorite artists at any opportunity she gets.”
