Vicki holds a M.Sc. in Geography – Land Use Analysis from Eastern Michigan University. She also completed the ANSI-RAB NAP accredited Environmental Lead Auditor Course, ISO 14001 Lead Auditing, and has a Provisional Environmental Auditor certification with the Auditing Association of Canada.
Vicki has 30 years of experience including Environmental Management Systems (EMS), Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), Environmental Effects Monitoring (EEM), and Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessment (ESAs).
Vicki has excellent analytical and technical writing skills and is known as a creative, innovative thinker who is also experienced in public and private liaison. She has coordinated environmental property requirements for a large corporate portfolio and conducted over 350 ESAs for a diverse range of clients and properties including shipyards, bulk marine terminals, electrical substations, transit/aviation/steel and chemical manufacturing facilities, aviation facilities, mine sites, vehicle repair, shooting range, lumber mills, log sort yards, vehicle maintenance facilities, gas stations, residential, and retail properties.
In her free time, she loves patio gardening, bicycling, and any activity that involves mountains. She is the mother to a daughter and has two grandchildren. She is new to Active Earth this year.
