Thomas joined Active Earth in 2022 and has been working as a registered EIT with EGBC since he graduated with his BASc from UBC Geological Engineering in 2017. He is currently working toward his P.Eng license.
Thomas has 6 years of experience working on a variety of projects across Canada in the areas of geotechnical, environmental, and hydrogeological site characterization and engineering. He has a diverse skill set encompassing underground engineering, instrumentation, soil and groundwater testing and classification, computer modeling, and project management. Over his career, Thomas has been involved in environmental remediation, groundwater and geotechnical assessment, and excavation shoring design for over 30 large structures in British Columbia. His work at Active Earth includes environmental Stage 1 and 2 Preliminary Site Investigations, Detailed Site Investigations, Remediations, and Geotechnical and Hydrogeological assessments and analysis.
In his free time, he enjoys a wide variety of outdoor activities that BC has to offer including skiing, mountain biking, and paddling. He especially enjoys road trips and camping.
