Rob Wilson is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with over 25 years of experience in environmental consulting across British Columbia, Alberta, and Yukon. He currently serves as Active Earth’s Kelowna Office Manager and Environment Team Lead, overseeing environmental projects throughout the Okanagan and Kootenay regions, with additional reach into northern BC and the Yukon.
Rob has successfully led multidisciplinary teams and managed complex environmental initiatives for a wide range of public and private sector clients. His expertise includes preliminary and detailed site investigations, environmental monitoring, contaminated site remediation, soil management, emergency spill response in both marine and freshwater environments, risk evaluation and liability planning, and regulatory and environmental permitting. Rob is recognized for his strategic project planning, effective stakeholder engagement and his ability to consistently deliver high-quality results under demanding timelines.
Outside of work, Rob enjoys running in the mountains, fly fishing, and mountain biking. Rob and partner Kirsten are proud parents of two young adults.
