Chris is a Project Manager and a graduate from the University of Alberta where he obtained a BSc. in Environmental and Conservation Sciences, majoring in Conservation Biology. Chris joined the Active Earth team in October 2023.
Chris is a Professional Agrologist with over 18 years of experience supporting private and public (federal, provincial, municipal) clients. Chris is a Site Assessment and Remediation (SAR) specialist and is well versed in the federal (CSA, CCME) and provincial (BC CSR) regulatory regimes and is experienced in all matters of environmental assessments (ESAs, PSIs and DSIs), remedial planning/implementation and environmental monitoring.
Chris has extensive experience with aquatic environments, sensitive habitats, sites with species at risk, and archaeologically sensitive areas. Chris has never met a remote area of BC that he couldn’t tackle, including multiple sites accessed by helicopter and boat throughout coastal and inland BC.
Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters as well as fishing, archery, men’s fastball and tending to his backyard chickens!
